Mornings with Mommy resume at Trinity Lutheran
MEDIA RELEASE__Mornings with Mommy are a fun and easy way to enjoy activities with your infant through kindergarten age children (ages 0-6 years) and meet other moms. Dads, Grandmas, Grandpas, and Nannies are welcome, too.
These educational playdates will begin on September 21 and 22 and continue on the first and third Monday and Tuesday of each month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera.
An identical second session will begin on Monday at 11:00 and go until noon. Advance registration is required online at tlcjenera.org or by calling 262-391-7994. The cost is $5 per family (not per child) per session. Payment may be by cash or check.
There will be age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. Moms can mingle with each other and enjoy activities with their children. The sessions each week will have their own theme, but the basic structure will be consistent.
Sessions will begin with a devotion, language and literacy activities (stories, flannel board and songs). There will be arts and crafts, sensory activities, gross and fine motor skills and an infant area. Moms and children may explore these activities at their own pace. At the end of each session, a snack will be served. Your child may enjoy it at Mornings with Mommy or take it to go.
