BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School volleyball team defeated visiting non-league foe Wapakoneta in straight sets Monday evening.

The Pirate girls improved to 11-5 with the victory.

Wapakoneta fell to 9-6 after the defeat.

PIRATE PERFORMANCES
Karlie Lora slammed eight kills, made four blocks and served two aces.

Taylin Goldman and Peyton Worcester knocked down seven kills apiece.

Camryn Fruchey dished out 18 assists, dealt a pair of aces and came up with two blocks.

Adrian Birnesser passed out seven assists.

Gracie Warren mustered 11 digs, while Ari Goings came up with 10 digs.

Savannah Stratton led the Redskins with eight kills. Kenzey Fullenkamp knocked down six kills. Sawyer Szelagowski hustled up seven digs.

The Bluffton junior varsity also won, 2-1.

The Pirates (3-1 NWC) visit Lincolnview (10-5, 3-1 NWC) Tuesday night. Bluffton then hosts Spencerville (7-7, 1-3 NWC) Thursday on Senior Night.
