MEDIA RELEASE__Midwest Electric has promoted Chad Klaus to Manager of Operations and Engineering.  Klaus has been with Midwest Electric since 2004 and has spent the last 11 years as a crew leader.

Klaus grew up around the electric utility industry as a second-generation lineman. His dad encouraged him to choose the cooperative world, and what started as a career choice became a place Chad wanted to stay. “I’ve loved the work and the people I’ve done it with,” Chad says.

He studied Civil Engineering Technology at Rhodes State and is looking forward to completing a degree through the Central Ohio Lineworker Training Facility’s partnership with West Virginia University.
