MEDIA RELEASE__Prospective students and their families are invited to experience life at Bluffton University through Future Beaver Saturdays, special campus visit opportunities designed to help students explore academic programs, connect with current students and discover what it means to be a Beaver.

Future Beaver Saturdays give students the opportunity to go beyond a traditional campus tour and picture themselves at Bluffton. Visitors can explore campus, learn about financial aid, and see firsthand student life on campus.

“Choosing a college is about finding a place where you can explore your interests, build relationships and envision your future,” said Zac Lykins, director of enrollment operations. “Future Beaver Saturdays give students the chance to experience campus firsthand, meet the people who make Bluffton special and imagine the possibilities here.”

Future Beaver Saturdays begin at noon and give prospective students and their families a chance to experience campus life firsthand. The visit includes a guided campus tour, a complimentary lunch on campus, and an opportunity to attend a campus event or Beaver athletic competition. Visitors will also have time to ask questions, connect with the Bluffton community, and learn more about the university’s academic programs and student experience.

Future Beaver Saturdays are currently scheduled for Nov. 21, Dec. 5, Jan. 23, Feb. 13, and April 17.

“Visiting campus is an opportunity to experience how Bluffton helps students feel known, supported, and equipped for the future,” said Claire Kleman, vice president of enrollment and communication. “We want students to see how they can grow, build meaningful relationships and prepare for what comes next.”

In addition to Future Beaver Saturdays, prospective students and their families can attend Discover Bluffton group visit days, scheduled for Nov. 21, Feb. 15, or a special junior visit Discover Bluffton, on April 17. These visits begin at 10 a.m. and offer opportunities to learn about financial aid, hear from current students, and tour campus.

Students who visit campus for either Future Beaver Saturdays or Discover Bluffton may also qualify for Bluffton University’s $1,000 annual Visit Award. Eligible first-year and transfer students planning to enroll in fall 2027 must complete a qualifying campus visit by Dec. 15. Students planning to enroll in fall 2028 must visit by Dec. 15. The renewable award provides up to $4,000 over four years for students who meet the eligibility requirements. Students should register their visit with the Admissions Office and confirm event eligibility.
