New Bluffton business wants to make you healthy
Well-Nourished, a new business in Bluffton, will open May 1. Emily Britton, the proprietor, is trained to teach clients how to eat in a way that optimizes their bodies metabolism, energy availability, and immune system.
While doing this, Britton will also teach effective goal setting and overall wellness. The goal of Well-Nourished is to see their clients healthy.
Britton is relatively new to the Bluffton area, however, she is not new to the struggles and difficulties of losing weight, setting goals, and living a healthy lifestyle.
At her peak, she weighed over 350 pounds. She tried several diets and exercise programs, but couldn't find one that took care of her "disease" instead of just her "symptoms."
What Britton did next was to get extensive training and education and fought her unhealthy life style head on. Since that day, she has lost over 100 pounds and is continuing to shed even more. She has also found that by setting goals, and committing to them, she is able to change her habits, routine, and lifestyle.
She hopes to share her knowledge and desire with the surrounding community. She says that she looks forward to the challenges and successes that she will have by being a teacher, motivator, listener and coach.
She said that she has a desire to make Well-Nourished a company that is synonymous with health and happiness. For more additional information, visit her website at www.well-nourished.net.
