Lots of projects on Bluffton Hospital schedule this week
Another ambitious week of work is underway at Bluffton Hospital. Here's this week's work schedule:
Outside site work continues - has been delayed by weather conditions:
o Concrete for the first section of the snow melt sidewalks will be poured
o Site preparation for another concrete pour late in the week is anticipated
o Exterior windows will be completed
o Exterior coating (EIFS) along the street will be completed at the eyebrow.
o Metal soffit panels will continue to be installed
o Roofing above clean storage should be completed
Surgery Area:
o Nearly ready for first cleaning of Surgery area
o Operating room, surgical equipment installation will begin this week.
o Surgical lights and equipment booms have arrived.
o Laparoscopic monitoring and integration gear will start.
o Final finishes will be applied
o Flooring will be completed
o Doors will be hung
Emergency Room Second Floor:
o Carpet may begin to be laid if it is deemed far enough ahead on the first floor
o Final finishes will be applied
o Remaining doors are anticipated be installed
Emergency Room First Floor:
o Half of all floor finishes are to be completed
o Doors should begin to be hung
o All lighting will be completed
o Ceiling in waiting should be completed
o Wood wall in the waiting room should be completed
o Most cabinets should be done and installed
o Toilet accessories and emergency room accessories will be hung
o Railing and crash bars will be hung
