BHS boys' track team "loaded" at regional
The Bluffton High School boys' track team qualified several events in this week's Division III regional track meet at Tiffin Columbian High School. The boys finished the district as runners-up scoring 124 points, closely behind Liberty Benton at 130 points. Columbus Grove was third with 86 points. The regional meet is Wednesday, May 25, and Friday, May 27.
Pirate regional qualifiers follow:
3,200 relay - first at district - David Yoder, David Moser, Lucas Harnish, Matthew Herron, 8:15.16.
110 hurdles - 1. Drew Luginbuhl, 15:32.; 3 - Eli Hoffer, 15:90.
1,600 run - 2. Matthew Herron, 4:33.54.
800 relay - 3. Drew Luginbuhl, Keshaun Hughes, Noah Stratton, David Yoder, 1:33.40.
400 dash - 2. David Yoder, 52.11; 3. Noah Stratton, 53.13.
300 hurdles - 1. Drew Luginbuhl, 41:56; 2. Eli Hoffer, 41.71.
800 run - 1. Matthew Herron, 2:00.05.
1,600 relay - 1. David Yoder, David Moser, Matthew Herron, Noah Stratton, 3:28.07.
High jump - 4. Kyle Bassitt 6-01.00.
Shot put - 4. Kyle Risner, 46-10.50
