Princeton Theological Seminary student summer intern at First Mennonite
Jason Frey, a seminary student at Princeton Theological Seminary, is a summer pastoral intern at First Mennonite Church. He serves in that role until early September, according to Steve Yoder, senior pastor.
Frey is no stranger to Bluffton. He is a 2010 Bluffton University graduate. At Bluffton he majored in religion. He is currently in his second year at Princeton working toward a master's of divinity degree.
During the summer of 2009 he was selected for the Ministry Inquiry Program, a joint program of Bluffton University, Central District Conference and Mennonite Church USA. In that program he served at Silverwood Mennonite Church, Goshen, Ind.
His assignment at First Mennonite includes member visitation, assisting with Christian education and Sunday worship planning. He will be involved in preaching.
He is staying with Don and Elaine Brubaker on Bixel Road.
