Funeral service Monday for Mildred Ingalls, retired Main Street business woman
Mildred Ingalls, 86, of Bluffton died at 6:30 a.m. July 14, 2011 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born Jan. 26, 1925 in Lima to Guy and Emma Andrews Campbell. On April 7, 1945 she married Albert Ingalls and he survives.
Mrs. Ingalls and her husband owned and operated Ingalls Restaurant in Bluffton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Bluffton and the Bluffton Senior Citizens.
Mildred enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School.
Survivors also include two daughters, Cheryl (Steve) McFadden of Bluffton, Dr. Connie (Robert) Bash of Lima, three grandchildren, Mick Bennett, Aimee (Tom) Cerny, Crystal (Andy Kirtland) Bennett and three great grandchildren, Remington Kirtland and Maxton and Kendall Cerny.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mattie Haycook, Erma Eberly and three brothers, Ray, John and Walter Campbell.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Bryant Miller and Chaplain William Herr will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
