Bring your lawn chair and stay awhile - MMH invites you to a Sunday evening ice cream social with steel drum band music
Mennonite Memorial Home, 410 W. Elm St., invites the public to its annual community "Concert on the Lawn", Sunday, Aug. 14, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
"Come and enjoy the Caribbean music of Pantasia steel drum band from Findlay High School. Since its inception in the spring of 1997, Pantasia has garnered an impressive reputation as an educational and entertaining instrumental music ensemble," said Julie Stratton of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
The band averages over 40 performances a year. Their island favorites, beach tunes, calypso, pop and reggae have been described as fun, festive and refreshing.
Persons attending are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and an appetite.
"You can enjoy free ice cream sundaes and fellowship with family and friends. The staff and residents of Mennonite Memorial Home hope to see you there," said Stratton.
