If a picture is worth 1,000 words, the Bluffton Public Library's amateur photo exhibit is worth hundreds of thousands of words.

I honestly thought I was in a modern art photo gallery. That was my immediate impression when stepping into the Bluffton Public Library this week.

On exibit are over 100 photos by amatuer photographers. The Icon encourages viewers to visit this impressive exhibit.

What will you find? Photos from persons of all ages, using all types of cameras, with a wide range of photo knowledge. You'll find some interesting use of Photoshop techniques. You'll also find some point and shoot photos that prove you don't have to have an expensive camera to take a great photo.

You'll find emotion, gasps, "how did you do that?" and more.
