Sign-up underway for public library storytime for youth
Beginning Monday, Sept. 12, storytime for preschoolers ages 3-5 will be held at the Bluffton Public Library on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Themes this fall include apples, scarecrows, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Storytime will also celebrate National Honey Month in September and Young Reader's Day on Nov. 8.
Each storytime session is approximately 35-40 minutes long and includes stories, songs, fingerplays and other related activities. Parents or caregivers must register their child at the library's circulation desk.
Storytime is a free, fun way to help children develop their imagination and early literacy skills.
Questions may be directed to Youth Services Coordinator Rikki Steingass at 419-358-5016 or by e-mail at [email protected].
