BFR can help you become Fit4Life; program starts in late September
Bluffton Family Recreation to Offer Fit4Life Weight Loss Program-
BFR is continuing to offer a 12-weekfitness program called Fit4Life, according to Carole Enneking, BFR director. The program will begin Sept. 26.
"The Fit4Life fitness program will assist individuals in meeting individual weight loss goals. The program will include individual and group meetings and educational sessions designed to motivate and support each participant," she said.
The program includes an orientation to exercise, personalized work-out programs that will be modified as the program progresses, six sessions with a certified personal trainer, group educational sessions, plus body mass measurements at the beginning and end of the 12 weeks.
All participants will receive a 10 visit aerobics class card and a personal workout journal.
Fit4Life will be led by Jessica Ladd , BFR's certified personal trainer. Ladd, a graduate of the Strength and Conditioning program at University of Findlay and certified through ISSA, has designed many work-out programs and assisted customers with their work out goals.
According to Ladd, "Fit4Life is a safe way to begin an exercise program. It combines scheduled workouts, personal training and motivation from exercise buddies."
The Fit4Life Program is beneficial to adults of all ages as each person's workout will be personalized to their goals and exercise limitations.
The cost for the Fit4Life program is $100, BFR members pay only $50. United Way scholarships are available to assist with the Fit4Life program fees. Space in the program is limited to 25 per group. Registration for the September session ends on Sept. 26.
The Fit4Life Program includes three-month membership to the fitness facility at Bluffton Family Recreation. The BFR facility offers treadmills, bikes, and elliptical trainers for a cardio-vascular workout, free weights and weight machines for strength training and toning, plus a mat area for floor and stability ball exercises.
In addition to the Fitness Center, the BFR offers an indoor walking/running track, turf arena and gymnasium. BFR also offers fitness classes for all ages and abilities.
