Girls' tennis: Bluffton shuts out Lima Senior
The Bluffton High School girls tennis team won their seventh straight match by shutting out Lima Senior Monday afternoon at Harmon Field courts. All five wins were in straight sets.
Ashlin Gable and Emily Sprague took 6-0, 6-0 decisions at No. 1 and 2 singles, respectively, while Kristi Geiser received a forfeit at No. 3.
Shannon Koch and Shaye Liddick and Rachel Sehlhorst and Bronwyn Green also won straight set matches in the doubles competition.
BHS was second to Celina at the Elida Invitational last weekend. Gable/Sprague won the A doubles, Geiser was second in the singles competition and Koch/Liddick were third in B doubles.
Bluffton is at Ottawa-Glandorf today (Tuesday) and hosts Fostoria High Wednesday.
