2012 United Way Drive officially underway - pledge form attached to this story
The 2012 Bluffton, Beaverdam and Richland Township United Way drive is official underway.
Residential visitation took place Tuesday evening. This year's goal is $23,000. Allocations follow:
- Boy Scouts 9 percent
- Bluffton Community Hospital Auxiliary 10 percent
- Bluffton Community Preschool 6 percent
- Bluffton Child Development Center 20 percent
- Bluffton Area Task Force on Drug and Alcohol Abuse 4 percent
- Bluffton Community Emergency Assistance 1 percent
- Girl Scouts of Appleseed Ridge 10 percent
- Allen County Chapter of American Red Cross 10 percent
- Bluffton Senior Citizens Association 0 percent
- Bluffton Family Recreation 11 percent
- Bluffton Weekday Christian Education 8 percent
- Administration, campaign and contingency fund 11 percent
According to Duane Bollenbacher, local United Way chairperson, the groups receiving allocations benefit practically every person and especially every child in our United Way District.
The United Way fund period is from Sept. 1, 2011 through Aug. 31, 2012. Checks may be mailed or deposited at the Citizens National Bank.
