2016 Barbara Fleming Memorial Nursing Scholarship winners

Vivian Nofziger and Kimberly Dove are the recipients of the 2016 Barbara Fleming Memorial Nursing Scholarship sponsored by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, Bluffton and Pandora (MHCO).
Nofziger is a 2014 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and is a student at Huntington (Indiana) University where she is working toward a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree. She is the daughter of Vance and Crista Nofziger of Pandora.
Dove will graduate this month from Perry High School, Lima. She plans to attend Wright State University in the fall, studying to be a nurse. Her parents are Angie and Pat Dove of Lima.
This annual award of $500 provides scholarship support to students pursuing vocations as licensed practical nurses, registered nurses or Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.
Barbara Fleming, in whose honor the scholarship is made possible, was a resident of Mennonite Memorial Home from 1997-2000, was trained as a nurse and throughout her life exhibited the caring nature that characterizes the profession of nursing.
