It was a great day for singing
Bradley Kauffman, project director of a forthcoming hymnal from MennoMedia, led members of the Bluffton community in hymns that explored the musical heritage of local Swiss immigrant churches.
The Swiss Community Historical Society event, held in Yoder Recital Hall on the campus of Bluffton University, was part of The Great Day of Singing on Oct. 22.
The musical selections ranged from songs of the Anabaptist martyrs, to favorite American hymns, to new songs from the global church proposed for the “Resonate” song and worship collection. (Jena O’Brien photo)
