Bluffton teachers share their stories with university education majors
Students in the Bluffton University education organization sponsored an evening with nine Bluffton school teachers, according to Tim Byers, advisor to the organization.
"Nearly 50 students were challenged, entertained, engaged and touched for 90 minutes as the teachers shared their stories and their paths, taken to become teachers," he said.
He added: "The students left energized and more prepared to become effective teachers because of this evening.
"In 90 minutes tonight these nine teachers reinforced and confirmed what we do in our teaching classes. They brought our textbook and our lectures and our discussions to real life and made a huge impact with our students.”
