October's garden of the month goes to Norma Sommer
Norma Sommer of Pinebrook, Bluffton, is the October's America In Bloom (AIB) Garden Of The Month recipient.
Norma's garden is a nicely balanced mix of annuals and perennials. She has chosen a lovely fall color palette with shades of orange, red, and yellow, with pops of purple and hot pink that really grabs the eye.
Norma's success as a gardener is particularly notable with regards to her ability to winter over mums. Her whimsical seasonal décor items complete the garden.
Presenting her with an AIB certificate and Stratton Greenhouse gift card are, Nancy Benroth, Denise Fett, and Becky Ramey, committee members.
This concludes 2018 Garden Of The Month running from May to October.
