Kaitlyn Montgomery, Icon artist of the month
Kaitlyn Montgomery, a Bluffton High School senior, is the Icon's student artist of the month.
Kaitlyn has taken Art One, Design One, and is currently taking Design Two and Art Seminar.
She describes the piece she is working on in this photo:
"In this art piece, I chose to draw hands releasing humming birds because of the impact a loved one had on my life. This piece shows not only my point of view, but shows the impact how something simple has a bigger meaning. With this, art during my high school career has shown me to look at the bigger picture, and expand my horizons."
After high school she plans to attend the University of Findlay in nursing and potentially minor in design.
Vickie Garmon is the BHS art teacher.
