Bluffton, Pandora-Gilboa, AE choirs perform on WTLW
Bluffton, Pandora-Gilboa and Allen East high school choirs are among 26 area high school choirs performing in in TV-44’s annual Holiday Music Festival studio production.
Each choir performed three musical selections, which will air on WTLW TV-44 at 4 and 10 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 24 and at 7 a.m. and noon, Wednesday, Dec. 25, and online at wtlw.com.
In addition to singing Christmas songs in the TV-44 studio, the students also had an opportunity to give back to the community. In all, $438 in cash was donated by the choirs, to be given to The Lima Rescue Mission, a non-profit organization that has been helping poor and homeless men since 1906.
Schools participating in the Festival are Allen East, Arcadia, Arlington, Bath, Bluffton, Botkins, Columbus Grove, Delphos Jefferson, Delphos St. John, Elida, Kalida, Liberty Benton, Leipsic, Lincolnview, New Bremen, Ottawa Glandorf, Pandora-Gilboa, Perry, Shawnee, St. Marys, Spencerville, Temple Christian, Wapakoneta, Waynesfield-Goshen, Van Buren, and Van Wert.
