Leland and Joanne (Buhler) Voth celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2, 2020.  

They were married at First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, in 1950, and have four children Nancy (Jerry) Suter of Pandora, David (Laura) Voth of Bluffton, Pam (Merlin) Shank of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Kevin (Sandra) Voth of Alpharetta, Georgia.  

They have 10 grandchildren, one deceased, and 14 great grandchildren. Lee and Jody have enjoyed their faith, family, and friends all their lives, along with a Chinese anniversary meal every year, in honor of Lee growing up as a Mennonite missionary kid in China.  Jody grew up in Bluffton, where her father was the high school principal.  

Lee and Jody lived in Korea, Laos, Congo, Jamaica, and the U.S. They worked 10 years as missionaries in Korea and then worked for USAID.  They live in their home in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
