Bluffton High School senior Landon Armstrong recently signed a letter of intent to run track and field and cross country at the University of Findlay.
Landon is the son of Natalie and Andy Armstrong.
Landon is a two-time state placer in cross country, finishing 15th in 2021 and third in 2022. He is the BHS record-holder in cross country with a time of 15:34.0.
As a sophomore Landon finished eighth in the 4x800 relay, and 10th in the 800.
As a junior in 2022, Landon broke the school record in the 800 with a time of 1:55.22. In 2022 at the state track meet he finished third in the 4x800, fourth in the open 800, and ran the anchor leg for the stater-up 4x400 relay quartet.
Next year Landon plans to major in nursing at the University of Findlay and will participate on the track and cross country teams.
