Cory-Rawson schools host seniors and alumnus Doug Kose at April events
On April 28, 120 senior citizens and grandparents from the Cory-Rawson Local School district attended its first Senior Citizen & Grandparent Breakfast. Student-leaders welcomed guests and served breakfast, while kindergarten through fourth grade students sang with the CRHS Jazz Band. Following breakfast and the performances, grandparents and their grandchildren participated in a variety of activities. Grandparents of fifth graders brought family treasures and shared them as part of their classroom "Antiques Roadshow."
The following day, Cory-Rawson welcomed back 1994 Alumni Doug Kose to kick off the 3rd Annual Cory-Rawson Community Day as the Keynote speaker. Kose spoke to our 7-12th graders about 'Chasing Your Dream, While Giving Back.'
