Applications welcome for "A Journey Through Time" Blaze parade
You are invited to be part of the November 25 Blaze of Lights parade. Chairperson Junior Weihrauch has mailed invitations to organizations that have been part of the Blaze tradition.
The invitation reads, "From Victorian carolers to retro 1950s-inspired decorations to modern displays. Use your imagination and creativity to create an entry that celebrates Christmas traditions."
The form is attached HERE and should be returned by November 6. Alternatively, email a description to [email protected].
The Blaze parade is expected to include over 100 units. Participants will line up at 4:00 p.m. at Bluffton Community Church, 601 N. Main St.
The parade will begin at 5:00 p.m. and it ends on College Ave. south of Main St.
Entries with floats are invited to follow the theme "A Journey Through Time." Trophies are awarded to the best floats. (Continues at link below.)
