March-April Lions calendar of events below

At the February 2024 meeting of the Bluffton Lions Club, new members Mark Bourassa and Dwain Hall were inducted by 1st Vice District Governor Sue Davis.

Mark Bourassa was born in Rochester, NY. He graduated from a high school in Atlanta, Ga. and attended Miami University. He also studied in Luxembourg, where he met his wife, Jackie Bemiller. He earned his Masters degree at Bowling Green State University and PhD from the University of Toledo. Bourassa has worked for 34 years at Bluffton University and is currently Dean of Students.

Dwain Hall is a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and has been a Bluffton resident for three years. He has three daughters and eleven grandchildren. Dwain has worked for Nationwide Insurance Company for 35 years and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. His hobbies include family time, walking, hiking, bicycling, euchre and kayaking.

The Bluffton Lions have announced the following calendar of events for March and April 2024

March 5 - 90th Charter Night - 6:00 p.m. - First Mennonite Church

March 19 - Club meeting noon at Town Hall. Fred Steiner presentation on Ghosts of Bluffton

and 50/50 Charity Raffle Drawing

April 5-6: District Convention

April 11 - Citizen of the Year banquet

April 20 - Pancake/sausage breakfast
