BPL returns to Holiday Gift Silent Auction mode
Bluffton Public Library is bringing back its annual Holiday Gift Silent Auction, to be held from November 1 through November 27. Community interest has prompted the library to revive the fundraiser and the staff "are happy to make this event available in Bluffton once again!"
The organizers note, "This event is a great way for those in the area to find gifts for the holiday season and then to also check out what area businesses have to offer beyond the items up for bid at the library. The event can also be a great way for you to apply those end-of-year tax write offs!"
The library is asking for donations of giftable themed gift baskets and/or items such as gift certificates, new books, craft kits, toys, or other items that could either be auctioned separately or combined with other items into a gift package.
Donations may be dropped off at the library through October 12 during regular business hours.
Cash donations are also welcome, and Paypal is another way to donate at https://blufftonpubliclibrary.org/donate/ Monetary donations will be applied to the final auction proceeds, unless otherwise requested by the donor.
All donations are tax deductible and donors will also be recognized on a Donor Recognition flier that will be posted for the duration of the auction at the library, on the library website, and on social media.
Proceeds from the Holiday Gift Silent Auction will help support library services and programs provided by Bluffton Public Library.
Bluffton Public Library "thanks the community in advance for being a proud supporter of literacy, learning, and community growth!"
