Bowlin' for Colon on April 19
What's big, pink and looks like a cross between a sci-fi movie and bounce house? The giant inflatable colon that is coming to Southgate Lanes on April 19, thanks to GI Physicians Inc.
From 3:00-5:00 p.m. the community education event will offer free bowling, free food and appetizers from QT Kays Kitchen. Call 419-358-6966 to reserve your lane.
Guests will also have the chance to walk through a giant colon to see what a gastroenterologist sees when performing a colonoscopy. A colonoscopy examines the inside of your large intestine and can be used to screen for colon cancer and precancerous polyps.
Southgate Lanes is located at 9700 Dixie Highway in Bluffton. GI Physicians Inc is located at 512 N. Cable Rd. in Lima.
