Letter: Invitation to become a Schumacher Homestead docent
From the Swiss Community Historical Society
Would you like to volunteer at the Schumacher Homestead, 8350 Bixel Rd, as a docent?
Would you like to help in clean-up, gardening, volunteering in the Heritage Center, yard work and more with enjoyable, appreciative friends?
We anticipate an increase in tour requests as the new Heritage Center nears completion. If anyone loves history, feels comfortable learning the stories of the Swiss Settlement, particularly from the Schumacher Homestead, and likes talking to groups of people, we invite you to complete our docent application form found below
At the bottom of the attached form is a list of other volunteer opportunities. We need folks who would like to do home maintenance, garden work, and landscaping. Reaching out in the comments section is also welcome.
The application below may be mailed to the Swiss Historical Society, Box 5, Bluffton, OH 45817.
