LEO Club invitation to 5K and 1-mile walk & stroll
May 24 fundraising event for all-abilities playground
The new BHS Leo Club is inviting the community to a 5K Run/1 Mile Walk & Stroll on Saturday, May 24 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. The event is a fundraiser for the Lions Club's all-abilities playground project at Bluffton Legacy Park, which is under construction on Snider Rd.
Whether you run, walk or ride, everyone is welcome to participate in this all-abilities 5K and 1-mile walk at Salzman Stadium on the campus of Bluffton University at Augusburge/Elm and Bentley roads.
REGISTRATION
- $5 per person; 12 and under free
- $15 Participation with a race t-shirt (all ages)

The deadline to register with a t-shirt purchase is Friday, May 2.
Race day registration is available on a cash only basis. T-shirts are only available with advance registration.
Registered participants 12 and under will receive a water bottle.
Check-in starts at 8:00 under the stadium bleachers. At 9:00, the 5K runners will line up at the front of the start line. Walkers and 1-mile participants will line up behind the runners.
Organizers note, "Sign up, bring your friends and family, and make a difference-one step at a time! Thank you for supporting our mission; your support is invaluable."
