Radio broadcaster to speak in Bluffton on May 20
In a program that is open to the public, the Bluffton Lions Club will hear about the community work and broadcast career of Bob Ulm, who often speaks of the specific issues he faces as someone who is totally blind.
Ulm will speak at the Lions Club noon meeting on Tuesday, May 20, on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.
His full time broadcast career began in June 1974 and he has been on the air continuously longer than any other local radio voice.
Bob has been active in his community for more than 50 years and served for 10 years as president of Delphos City Council.
Ulm is the morning news voice for Woof Boom Radio stations Fun 107.1, The Fan 93.1 sports radio, The Eagle classic rock 104.9, The Frog new country 92.1, and The Legend classic country 98.5, and cohosts a morning show on Fun 1071.
