BOARD REPORT
Fundraising for the All-Inclusive Playground at Legacy Park is now at $101,441 with 14 Lions participating to date.

Scholarships have been awarded to three seniors at Bluffton High School, two at Pandora-Gilboa and one at Cory-Rawson.

New member application by Don Burris was accepted by the board.

PANCAKE AND SAUSAGE BREAKFAST
The first Stacks and Crafts event took place on May 10. Some 170 meals were served with a net profit of $800. These funds go to community agencies that the Bluffton Lions support. Lions helping were: Greg Denecker (chairman), Dwain Hall, Lowell Hostetler, Ed Yeager, Brigette Hoff, Natalie Armstrong, Scott Hoff, Larry Hoffman, Jerry Szabo, Laura Dagani, Barbara Plaugher, Jan Emmert, Bill Croft, Don Burris and Jesse Blackburn. LEOs helped with this event also.

ROADSIDE CLEANUP
Lions participating in the April bi-annual roadside clean-up were Andrew Rager (chairman), Dwain Hall, Larry Hoffman, Mike Minnig, Natalie Armstrong, Jackie Bourassa, Mark Bourassa and Jerry Szabo. Participating but not in the photo: Cindy Lee, Andrew Armstrong, Laura Dagani and LEO Owen Armstrong.

UPCOMING EVENTS

May 24
BHS Leo Club is sponsoring a 5K run at Bluffton University starting at 9 AM. The cost to participate is $5.00. Proceeds will benefit the All-Inclusive Playground to be built at Legacy Park on Snider Rd. 

June 3
Club meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Pandora Sorting Center VOSH for an evening of preparing glasses for missions. Scholarship winners to be present.

June 13
Festival of Wheels. 

June 17
Club meeting at Town Hall at noon. 50/50 charity raffle. Lion Greg’s sandwiches for sale. Scholarship winners present. Induction of new members and installation of officers. Dr. Hogan will speak on chronic pain management.

July 12
Annual Ride to Remember. Proceeds go to the bike pathways.
