Three local businesses recognized by BCE's Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition
MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs recently hosted its annual Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition, marking the conclusion of the six-week Small Business Academy-VIP class series presented by the Small Business Development Center at Rhodes State College.
The program provides aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with hands-on business education, mentorship, and guidance to help strengthen and grow their businesses. To qualify for the competition, participants were required to attend all six class sessions, complete a comprehensive business plan, and present their business pitch before a panel of judges for an opportunity to receive seed funding to support the development of their business.
This year’s top award recipients included:
- Inside Innovations of Bluffton, Ohio, owned by Brooke Place
- The Nook Café and Bakery of Pandora, Ohio, owned by Tori Moser
- The Victory Pantry of Bluffton, Ohio, owned by Morgan Kohli
The competition highlights the innovation, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit of small business owners throughout the region. Organizers noted the impressive quality of this year’s participants and the strong potential each business brings to the local economy.
“The Small Business Academy-VIP and the Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition continue to provide valuable opportunities for entrepreneurs to gain the tools, confidence, and support needed to succeed,” Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs Director Rene Gabriel shared. “We are excited to see these businesses continue to grow and make an impact in their communities.”
The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs and the Small Business Development Center at Rhodes State College remain committed to supporting small businesses through education, resources, and networking opportunities designed to foster long-term success.
