MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton's America 250 organizers want YOU to join in this summer's 4th of July parade: Did you drive your tractor, golf cart or special vehicle to school for the senior parade? We are looking for unique and entertaining units for this 4th of July. Decorate your tractors and golf carts with flags, bunting, lights, streamers, anything red, white and blue and drive them in the parade.
Decorate your dogs, cats, rabbits and whatever other four-legged creatures you have and put them on display in the parade.
What about a riding mower brigade? How about a baby stroller unit? Dress up your kiddos in the colors of the flag and push them down Main Street.
What about all you scooter riders? We see you all over the place. Decorate those things and show them off in the parade. Bluffton is a biking community. You ride the bike path. Why not gather a big group of bikes and pedal down Main? There are lots of motorcycles around town. Put flags on them and ride in the parade.
Bluffton has hosted amazing parades on the 4th of July. This is one year that is so special to our country that we have to join in the celebration! You can walk, ride, skip or do whatever you want. Show your Bluffton and USA pride. We are so lucky to be free!
