Geraldine "Gerry" Fett was a homemaker
Geraldine "Gerry" Fett, 85, passed away on May 31, 2026, at Fox Run Manor in Findlay. Gerry was born January 25, 1941, in Lima to the late Walter and Gladys (Augsburger) Freeman. On May 18, 1963, she married Eugene Fett, who preceded her in death on October 9, 2023.
Gerry was a homemaker and had worked briefly at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Bluffton and its women's outreach program. Gerry enjoyed crocheting, camping and visiting with her friends.
Survivors include three children, Greg (Barb) Fett of Lima, Cathy (Craig) Webb of Findlay, Becky (Frank) Ruiz of Findlay; three grandchildren, Kayleigh (Adam) Schultz of Little Chute, Wisconsin, Elijah Ruiz of Findlay, Mackenzie Ruiz of Findlay; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Schultz and many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladys Freeman and her husband, Eugene Fett.
Gerry's service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton with Pastor Jeremy Mann officiating. Burial will be in Rockport Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
