Bluffton historical society plans performance of Dillinger drama

At the May monthly meeting of the Bluffton Ohio Historical Society discussion will include plans for an encore presentation by Fred Steiner on most-wanted criminal John Dillinger for the Wake the Dead motorcycle group on Saturday, October 10. Steiner will be casting volunteers to play August 14, 1933, eyewitnesses to the robbery of Bluffton's Citizens National Bank.
Steiner originally presented this program at the first Bluffton History Day in 2023. See 90th anniversary of Dillinger robbery recalled on Bluffton History Day, Aug. 12.
The society will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 at the 1899 Depot, a.k.a. the Bluffton Sportsmen's Club, 405 N. Spring St. The meeting is open to the public.
