Patricia Althaus was a homemaker
Patricia Althaus, 86, passed away July 14, 2026, at Willow Ridge - Frieda House.
Patricia was born in Port Huron, Michigan to Jason Lyle and Gladys Louise (Durck) Drury who preceded her in death. On December 13, 1958, she married Larry Ned Althaus who preceded her in death on July 20, 2011.
She was a graduate of Harrod High School. She was a homemaker, a member at First Mennonite Church of Bluffton, and a member of Farm Bureau Council 35. She enjoyed quilting, photography, coloring, flowers, and her family.
She is survived by her three children, Jeffrey (Dianne) Althaus of Columbus Grove, Randall (Janice) Althaus of Bluffton, and Annette (Nathan) Heslep of Bluffton; six grandchildren, Traci (Steven) Heinze of Bluffton, Katie (Nathan) Schumacher of Bluffton, Julie (Mathias) Klausing of Pandora, Abbey Heslep of Columbus, Amelia Heslep of Columbus, and Jason Althaus of Columbus Grove; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kaye Dye of Sebring, FL; and sister-in-law, Dianne (Drury) Bacome of Shawnee.
She was preceded in death by her sibling, Tom Drury.
Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:30 am at First Mennonite Church of Bluffton. Pastor Steven Heinze to officiate the service. Burial will be in Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the church
Memorial contributions may be made to First Mennonite Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
