Jane Ann (Diller) Thurman, 75, of Dayton and formerly of the Bluffton area, passed away July 2, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Jane was born on September 2, 1950, in Bluffton, Ohio, to the late Nelson and Louise (Pierman) Diller. In 2008, she married William Thurman, who passed away in November 2010. 

Jane graduated from Bluffton High School in 1968 and from the University of Dayton in 1973. Jane was a nursing home administrator as part of her health care experience. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dayton, Ohio, where she was an active member of the choir. Jane also played the harp for Ohio Hospice of Dayton. 

Jane was survived by her brother, Jon Diller; his wife, Phyllis; their children; and her niece and nephew, Amy and Brian. Jane was a caring sister and aunt.

A committal service took place in Bluffton, Ohio.
