Phyllis Ann Reynolds, 77, worked at Citizens National Bank
Phyllis Ann Reynolds,77, passed away September 12, 2026, at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Phyllis was born April 24, 1949, in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Helen (Agin) Winkler.
Phyllis graduated in 1967 from Bluffton High School. She worked at Citizens National Bank in Bluffton until she retired in 2019. She also sold Avon for many years and enjoyed visiting with her customers, many of whom became lifelong friends. She volunteered for many years as a preschool Sunday school teacher at First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, where she was a member. Phyllis was also a long-time member of Homemaker’s club and enjoyed planning themed meetings, crafts, and field trips for the group. She loved crafting, decorating, reading, and talking and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila (Tom) Gibbons of Willoughby, Ohio and sisters Janet (Armin) Giese, Rebecca (Gary) Luginbill, and Judy (Greg) Amstutz. She is also survived by her four grandchildren whom she adored: Jack Gibbons, Sean Gibbons, TJ Gibbons, and Jimmy Gibbons, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Winkler.
Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton with Pastor Elizabeth Kelly to officiate the service. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Mennonite Church, Bluffton.
