Dwain Eugene Crawford, 82, worked at Lima Ford Engine Plant
Dwain Eugene Crawford, 82, passed away on October 16, 2026, peacefully in his rural Pandora home surrounded by his family. Dwain was born on February 12, 1944, in Bluffton to the late F. In his spare moments, he loved to ride motor scooters and horses. Dwain also enjoyed coon hunting for years and spending time in Holmes County.
Survivors include his wife, Karyl Crawford; two daughters, Lisa Crawford of Findlay, Lori (John) Pletcher of Rawson; two grandchildren, Cory (Lily Bair) Pletcher and Karissa (Jonathan) McPheron; two great-grandchildren, Ariah Davis and Draco Davis. He is also survived by three brothers, Garry (Linda) Crawford of Bluffton, Darlene Barnt of Lima, Darwin Crawford of St. Mary’s; a brother-in-law, Charles Sousley of Bluffton; a sister-in-law, Jayne (Denny) Caskie of Bluffton; and several nieces and nephews.
Dwain was preceded in death by his parents, F. Willis and Irene Crawford and a brother-in-law, William Barnt.
The family would like to express thanks to the doctors, nurses and aides for their excellent and compassionate care of Dwain.
Dwain’s service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Pandora United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
