Santa Claus is coming to town.

Yes, we know it’s not Halloween yet, but the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce thought you might want to place Santa’s schedule on your calendar.

The chamber has scheduled Santa several times in November and December. Here’s where and when:

Saturday, Nov. 23 – Santa arrives in the old Bluffton fire truck at 10 a.m. and will be in Common Grounds, 101 S. Main St., from 10 a.m. to noon.

Cory-Rawson HS cheerleading program will hold a holiday craft show and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at the C-R High School. Concessions are available. All proceeds benefit the Cory-Rawson cheerleading program.

For more information, contact Michele Rettig 419-306-1553 or Michelle Livingston, 567-224-8778.

Cory-Rawson HS’s music department will hold its first-ever bakery Bingo event from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at the high school’s old cafeteria, 3930 County Road 26, Rawson.

Bingo cards are $1 each and prizes are baked goods. The event also includes basket raffles and concessions.

All proceeds benefit the Cory-Rawson band, choir and show choir members with fees for the music department’s Florida spring trip.

Starting Friday, October 18 and running through Thursday, October 24 Shannon Theatre will be showing two films.

Ohio Northern University’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts will present  “Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies” with the Ohio Northern University Symphony on Oct. 19 at 8:30 p.m.

Individuals can relive the magic of their favorite Disney movies when celebrated vocalists accompanied by the ONU Symphony perform music from “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Mary Poppins,” “Aladdin,” “The Lion King” and “Pocahontas.” Rare original storyboard art and video from the Disney archives projected on a big screen help bring these memorable melodies to life.
