A Leaving a Love Legacy Workshop with Beth A. Boehr, is planned from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, at 119 Vine St., Bluffton.
"Life teaches us to expect the unexpected. Are you prepared to leave Love Legacy for your family if something should happen to you?" asks Boehr.
Persons attending the workshop will learn how to organize important paperwork and documents to they may be easily located in case of an emergency.
Richland Manor will hold an ice cream social open to the public at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, according to Barry Schneck. Richland Manor is located at 7400 Swaney Road, Bluffton.
Pre-school children (ages 4-6) are encouraged to attend one or all of the
remaining BFR mini camps offered on Thursdays, according to Carole Enneking, BFR director.
The July 26 theme is Sports Sampler, and Aug. 2 will feature Fairy Tale Village.
Registration fee is $12 ($8 BFR member) per day and includes all camp

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Ice Age: Continental Drift" (PG) will be shown at the theatre from July 20-26.

The Bluffton Cattle 4-H Club is holding a chicken barbecue in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium on Sunday, Aug. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost will be $7.50 per dinner and includes chicken, green beans, applesauce and a roll. Desserts will be available at an additional cost. Carry-outs will be available.

The Buy Ada First Committee has organized a Music On Main event for Friday, July 13, from 6 - 8 p.m. at The Ada Depot parking lot on Main Street, weather permitting.
WONB 94.9 FM is providing music, several businesses are having sidewalk sales, some restaurants will be offering specials, the Ada Rotary Club is having a chicken barbecue fundraiser and more.
Planners of the event invite Icon viewers to bring lawn chairs, enjoy dinner, visit the businesses, listen and dance to music and spend time in Ada with friends and family.
