As they say "Get them while they're hot." Tickets are going fast for Friday's Bluffton Music Boosters chicken barbecue and shrimp dinner at the middle school.
The meals and music take place Friday, March 23, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. (or sell out) at the middle school cafetorium.
Tickets are now $7 each and are available at Greg's Pharmacy and at the middle school and high school offices. This year's meal includes one-half chicken (or seven pieces of shrimp), potato salad, applesauce, dinner roll and a drink.

On Sunday, an illustrated presentation is planned by the Swiss Community Historical Society's Intrepretation Committee about the Christian and Peter Schumacher family histories and their life at the Swiss homestead on Bixel Road.

This year's event takes place two evenings, starting at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 20, and again at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. Over 50 raffle prizes are available and no prize has a value of less than $20. Some prizes have values of over $100.

The 30th annual benefit is from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, March 17, at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main St. Tickets are $6.50 for adults and youth through age 5 are free when accompanied by an adult.
The benefit offers all the pancakes you can eat, whole hog sausage, coffee, tea, milk and applesauce. Tickets are available at the door.
