Obituaries

Sharon K. Jamison, 73, of Celina and formerly of Bluffton, died Jan. 26, 2019 at Lima Memorial Health System.  Arrangements are pending at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

He graduated from Bluffton High School; served in the U.S. Navy

Robert "Bob" D. Lee, 90, died Jan. 26, 2019, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.  Bob was born June 22, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Garvin and Irttie (Dunlap) Lee.  On June 12, 1953, he married Miriam Basinger Lee who survives.

Margaret Kelly Neal, 96, of Tallahassee, Fla., died on Jan. 19, 2019. She was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Laurel Hill, Fla.

Among survivors are Elizabeth Kelly (Ray Person) of Bluffton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Margaret Neal Pastoral Care Fund at St. John's, or Grace Mission Episcopal Church, 303 W. Brevard St, Tallahassee, Fla., or a charity of your choice.

A funeral service is at 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 211 N Monroe St, Tallahassee.

Arrangements are handled by Bevis Funeral Home, Tallahassee.

Margaret Zelma (Shelly) Weaver died on Jan. 20, 2019, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton, Ohio.

Margaret was born in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 8, 1922, to Katie May (Rickert) and Elwood S. Shelly.  In 1939 she graduated from Pennsburg High School and began studying at Bluffton College, where she met Dick Weaver.  She and Dick were married on June 8, 1943.

Margaret taught English and coached girls' softball for a year in Linden, Michigan, before leaving for Puerto Rico where she served with Dick in alternative service from 1944-46. She taught English there.

Constance "Connie" Sue Long, 48, died Jan. 23, 2019, at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus. Connie was born July 17, 1970, in Bluffton to Donald and Darlene (Lytle) Burkholder.  On May 6, 2000, she married David Long and he survives.

Connie graduated from Pandora-Gilboa High School and from the Ohio State Beauty Academy in Lima.  She had previously worked at Blanchard Valley Center in Findlay and volunteered at the Et Cetera in Bluffton. 

Connie was a member of the Leipsic Fishing and Hunting Club. 

She was a member of the Descendants of the Mayflower

Helen C. Hilty, 105, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton, Ohio.  She was born June 21, 1913, to A. Elmer and Emma (Laibe) Campbell.  They both preceded her in death.

On July 6, 1940, she married Dr. Donald Hilty, who preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1989.
