Obituaries

Frank Paul Stawowy, 67, passed away September 14, 2015 at Bluffton Hospital.  Frank was born July 28, 1948 in Detroit, MI, to the late Frank and Sophie (Tront) Stawowy. He married Susan  Thomas who survives. 

Frank retired as a controls engineer. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors also include two brothers  Donald (Nancy) Stawowy of MI, David (Joan) Stawowy of AZ; and two sisters Phyllis (John) Mondro of MI and Carol (Duane) Clark of MI.

Donald Lee Schweingruber, 75, of Bluffton, died Saturday, Sept. 12. Don had been living with multiple myeloma for the past 15 years and was in hospice care when he died.

Don was born April 4, 1940, in Ellwood City, Pa., to Russell and Dorothy Schweingruber and grew up on a farm in Butler County. He graduated from Zelienople High School in 1958 and Thiel College in 1963. He continued his education at Miami University, where he met Nancy Hoeltje. They married in 1965.

Donald Schweingruber, 75, of Bluffton died September 12, 2015 at Bluffton Hospital.  Arrangements are incomplete at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton.

Janice Ruth Smith Reese, 84, of Lima died on Sept. 5, 2015, at Lima Memorial Hospital,  after a brief illness.    

Judith (Judy) K. Kingery, 70, died on Sept. 6, 2015 at Brookhaven Rehabilitation Center in Brookville, Ohio.
 
Judy was born in Bluffton and was the daughter of Kenneth and Pauline (Eikenbary) Chidester, who preceded her in death.  Judy was a 1963 Bluffton High School graduate. Judy was married to Ronald Kingery.

Survivors include a daughter Jodi (Kevin) Brooks of Sevierville, Tenn., and son Scott Stelzer of Findlay; two stepdaughters Loretta and Katie; 10 grandchildren Tyler (and wife Amanda), Brett, Brandon, Dylan, Chad, Grace, Lily, Meghan, Kaley, and Koby. 

Wava J. Taylor, 89, died 4:05 a.m. Sept. 10, 2015, at Richland Manor, Bluffton.  Wava was born April 4,1926, in Bluffton to the late Roy and Ethel Geiger Lehman.

Wava was a cook and worked at area restaurants. 

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Deitrick of North Baltimore, three sons, Bob Deitrick, Ed (Linda) Deitrick, and Fred Deitrick all of Findlay, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Ortha Lehman of Alta Loma, CA.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lehman.
