BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University senior defensive end Ryan Aelker (New Bavaria/Holgate) was voted as the HCAC Play of the Week for week 2. The senior earned the title after voting took place on various HCAC social media outlets.
With Bluffton holding a 38-26 lead late in the fourth quarter over Baldwin Wallace, Aelker makes a game-clinching sack on fourth down to solidify the Beavers' first ever win over the Yellow Jackets in program history.

ADA, Ohio - The Bluffton University volleyball team jumped out to a quick 9-4 lead over host Ohio Northern on Wednesday, Sept. 16, but the Polar Bears scored 13 of the next 17 points and parlayed that into a four-set win over the Beavers. Bluffton slipped to 3-6 against some of the best competition in the nation, while Ohio Northern upped its season mark to 6-3.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University Men’s Soccer team was unable to claim its first win of the season when it welcomed the College of Wooster Fighting Scots on Wednesday, Sept. 16, falling by a final score 4-0. The Beavers dipped to 0-4 while the Fighting Scots gained their second win of the season, giving them a record of 2-4-1.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team played a tough match against Olivet College on a sunny Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 . The Beavers took a tough loss against the Comets in overtime with a final score of 4-3. This heartbreaker dropped Bluffton to 2-3 while Olivet stayed unbeaten and untied at 5-0.

It was also Bluffton's first game on the new turf at Alumni Field.
