Bluffton University seeks a full-time Admissions Counselor.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal and group communication skills and possess a competitive spirit and sales orientation. A bachelor's degree is required.  Previous sales and/or college admissions experience preferred. A strong background in the Mennonite/Anabaptist peace church tradition is desired.

Responsibilities include coordination of all recruitment activities for students living in selected states outside of Ohio; traveling approximately twelve weeks in the fall and three weeks in the spring for out of state recruitment; coordinating church and high school visits; representing Bluffton at college fairs, conferences and other church-related functions and locations including camps; maintaining contact with various university constituencies including prospective students and their parents, guidance counselors, alumni, pastors, etc.; conducting campus interviews and tours with prospective students; regular telephone and electronic communication with prospective students; hiring and supervising student interns; other admissions responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Admissions. Frequent evening and weekend hours required.
