Bluffton hospital announces Oct., Nov. and Dec. births

These babies were born at Bluffton Hospital during October, November and December of 2015

Oct. 15 -- Scarlett Graison DeLong-Clem, daughter of Danielle and Tyler and Danielle DeLong-Crem, Bluffton.

Oct. 19 -- Willow Rayne Sutton, daughter of WynterWise and Frank Sutton, Delphos.

Oct. 20 -- Jaxson M. Issac Dais, son of Kayla Pifer and Abram Davis, Lima.

Oct. 22 -- William Matthew Niese, son of Matthew and Elizabeth Niese, Leipsic.

Oct. 26 -- Elena Luna Gonzalez, daughter of Sabrina Concepsion Rubio, Leipsic.

There's an undefeated basketball team in Bluffton at 17-0

The Bluffton University women’s basketball team started the back half of conference the same way they finished the first round, continuing their winning ways with a 75-56 victory over Franklin College on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Bluffton men hold off Franklin for 83-79 win

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men’s basketball team played host to the Franklin College Grizzlies on Saturday, Jan. 23, in an HCAC contest. The Beavers came into the game looking to end their five-game slide, and managed to do so by holding off a pesky Grizzly squad by a score of 83-79. Bluffton improved to 9-8 (4-6 HCAC) while Franklin fell to 1-16 (1-9 HCAC) on the season.

Think spring: 45th annual arts and crafts show planning underway

Mark your calendar. Plans are underway for the 2016 Bluffton Arts and Crafts Show.

This is the 45th annual show with this year's event on Saturday, May 14, in downtown Bluffton. The show is held in conjunction with the Bluffton Soccer Club's tournament, held the same weekend at Bluffton University. These two events make for a busy Bluffton weekend with hundreds of out-of-town visitors spending time in Bluffton.

In addition, the Bluffton Farmers' Market, in the Citizens National Bank parking lot, will take place on the morning of the show.
