Bluffton, Indiana, was nicknamed “The Parlor City” over a century ago because its paved streets (a new phenomenon at the time) made the city “as clean as your parlor."
Bluffton High School girls' track team added another significant piece of hardware to the BHS trophy case as they won the Liberty Benton District III track meet Saturday.
The girls team scored 92 points to edge second place Waynesfield with 88. Third was Carey with 71.4 and fourth, Columbus Grove with 58.

Meanwhile, Bluffton boys finished fifth at Liberty Benton's District 2, scoring 66 points. Liberty Benton was first with 172, Elmwood, second, 87, Margaretta, third, 82.5, Van Buren, fourth, 66.
