Bluffton, Indiana, was nicknamed “The Parlor City” over a century ago because its paved streets (a new phenomenon at the time) made the city “as clean as your parlor."
The Pandora United Methodist Church will host a program to foster better understanding of Islam. People in the United States have very little understanding of the history of Islam and its connection to Judaism and Christianity. The World of Belief: Inside Islam – is a two part video and discussion presentation will inform participants on the foundations of this major world religion and guide to understanding how Islam functions in the global community.
Part One will be Sunday, Sept. 22, at 3 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. (These are the same session repeated.)
Part Two will be Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. One hour prior to each of the Part Two sessions, the video for Session One will be repeated for anyone who missed the first session.)
